Service Delivery Administrator

Departmental Overview:

To provide an agreed customer administration, telephony and underwriting service proposition that supports the sales distribution model for Retirement, Care, Protection and Equity Release products.

Purpose of the Role:

To provide agreed levels of customer service and administrative support to intermediaries in order to help maximise profitable sales and ensure customer expectations are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and organising:
    Plan and organise your work effectively, to support the achievement of the job purpose and team/personal objectives
  • Task completion:
    Undertake required tasks needed (eg. outbound calls, case administration, reminders) to ensure service levels and productivity targets are met
  • Specific objectives:
    Manage time to ensure any specific (SMART) objectives set are achieved to the standard and timescale required
  • Administration:
    Complete all required administration and record-keeping related to the service provided

Person Profile:

  • An enthusiastic and motivated individual with a customer focused attitude; computer literate ; excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; good organisation & planning skills; ability to prioritise; high attention to detail and a focus on quality and service (completer / finisher);self starter; team player - a friendly nature with strong team-playing ability.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Essential: Minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent, including Maths and English (A-C Grades)
  • Desirable:CII module CF1, FA1 or FA2 or CiFA.
    Experience in Financial Services (ideally Pensions/Annuities)
