IT Services
IT Services (ITS) are responsible for the design, development, implementation and ongoing support of all technology related architecture and solutions. This includes the server and desktop architecture itself, the bespoke application framework (nTouch) and the corporate web sites (both internal and external). The Facilities Department is responsible for ensuring that our offices are appropriately managed covering basic services such as sundries, post, light and heat through to health and safety, fire marshalling and space management.
The two departments are considered service providers that underpin the organization's success by ensuring that appropriate provisions are made in the technology and facilities areas to support the organization in meeting its objectives. Further the departments support other service areas such as risk, compliance and audit through their activities and provide valuable data to many areas enabling them to make key decisions based on accurate and timely MIS.
Within the ITS departments we recognize several industry accreditations or qualifications including all Microsoft examinations (MCP, MCSA etc) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) qualifications in IT service management. Within the facilities area we recognize health and safety accreditations including fire marshalling, first aid and space planning however in addition to the formal accreditations a strong knowledge of building and local authority regulations is an essential key area of understanding.
ITS and Facilities within Partnership offers a rewarding work environment that is both challenging and fulfilling. The departments play an important role in the ongoing development of the organization and as such offer a chance to be involved in new challenges regularly. The team are friendly and committed to success which makes working within the department an enjoyable experience.
