PARTNERSHIP ANNOUNCES STRENGTHENED ACTUARIAL TEAM WITH SENIOR APPOINTMENTS

Andrew Chamberlain has joined Partnership as Chief Financial Actuary from Towers Watson, which he joined in 2000 as a partner in the predecessor firm Watson Wyatt, and where he led the UK regulatory, tax and with-profits teams.

He will remain as Actuarial Function Holder as well as heading the corporate actuarial team and will report to Chief Financial Officer, Mark Dearsley.

Claire Norris will join Partnership as Deputy Actuary. She joins from Swiss Re where she led a number of group-wide initiatives in the actuarial and risk management functions over the last four years. Claire will report to Andrew Chamberlain, and also support Robin Houghton, Partnership's Chief Pricing Officer, who is taking responsibility for leading Partnership’s pricing function.

“I am delighted that Andrew Chamberlain and Claire Norris are joining Partnership,” said Mark Dearsley.

“Partnership is the fastest growing significant life company in the UK. It is appropriate that the strong, profitable growth of the business is reflected in a strengthened actuarial function.”
